Bedding Nurse Mercy

CHAPTER ONE.
Nurse Mercy sat in front of the mir­ror in her new bed­room comb­ing out her long, flaxen blonde hair. Her hair was a bright, shin­ing yel­low, and it hung long and straight all the way down to her but­tocks, cov­er­ing those de­li­ciously curved fleshy ron­dures in a swirl of shin­ing golden curls. Her par­ents, when they had been alive, had never al­lowed her to cut her hair. They‘d been old-fash­ioned to the core, dis­ap­prov­ing of mo­tor­cars and all mo­dem con­veni­ences. Short hair on wo­men they had re­garded as the work of the devil, and they had brought Mercy up very strictly. Though she wore her hair up in a bun dur­ing the day, as she primly went about her du­ties, at night she gave it one hun­dred strokes re­li­giously, just as her mother had al­ways dir­ec­ted her.
